Description
The State of Delaware is seeking vendors to supply a full range of firefighter personal protective equipment (PPE) – turnouts, helmets, gloves, boots, EMS garments, accessories – and associated maintenance, cleaning, and support services. The contract will be awarded on a competitive sealed‑proposal basis and will run through May 31 2028 with possible one‑year extensions. Vendors must meet NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI standards, provide certification, and may offer additional related items. Evaluation will weight product offering, experience, customer service, price, and references.
• Provide fire‑fighter structural, wildland, EMS, and other protective garments meeting NFPA 1971/1977/1999 standards.
• Supply helmets, gloves, boots, and accessories, plus optional maintenance/cleaning services verified under NFPA 1851.
• Submit detailed pricing via Appendix A (core items) and Appendix A1 (optional items) through the Bonfire online portal by the April 23 2026 deadline.
