Sole Source Notice: Purchase of Limotorque Valve Actuator and Parts from Flotech, Inc.

The City of North Miami Beach intends to negotiate a Sole Source procurement for the purchase of Limotorque Valve Actuator and Parts from Flotech, Inc. The Norwood Water Treatment Plant currently has Limitorque valve actuators in use and needs to replace two valves and purchase a spare. Flotech, Inc. is recognized by Flowserve as the sole representative of Limotorque products in the State of Florida. The anticipated cost of the procurement is $24,999.00. • The procurement is for Limotorque Valve Actuator and Parts • The Norwood Water Treatment Plant is the end-user of the products • Flotech, Inc. is the sole source supplier of Limotorque products in Florida • The procurement is exempt from the bidding process under the City of North Miami Beach City Code Section 3-4.8 • The City is seeking responses from interested firms or individuals to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
