Description
The State of South Carolina, Department of Transportation, is soliciting bids for the purchase of fifteen (15) heavy-duty 8,000 lb. capacity Asphalt Hotbox Trailers. The trailers must be new and meet the requirements specified in the solicitation. The contract will be for a period of five years, with the possibility of four one-year renewals. The bid must include pricing for the base unit and optional features such as an inferred unit, roller, plate tamp, tongue extension, frame extension, and hydraulic loading doors.
• The trailers must be capable of withstanding the rigors of frequent use in a construction environment.
• The trailers must be equipped with a hotbox body and workmanship that is warrantied for a period of five years.
• The trailers must be delivered to the location specified in the solicitation.
• The contractor must provide a signed copy of the solicitation document with their bid.
• The contractor must acknowledge receipt of any amendments to the solicitation.
The bid must be submitted online or by mail, and must include all required documents and information. The State of South Carolina reserves the right to reject any bid that does not meet the requirements specified in the solicitation.
