Description
The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) is seeking a contractor to provide shipping and storage services. The contractor will be responsible for providing containers that meet the requirements specified in the solicitation. The containers must be made of aluminum and have a specific shelf life. The contractor must also provide a unique item identifier for the containers. The Government intends to make a single award to the eligible, responsible, technically acceptable offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered.
• The contractor must have a valid source approval request (SAR) on file with the design control activity.
• The contractor must provide a unique item identifier for the containers.
• The contractor must comply with the instructions in Section L of the solicitation.
• The contractor must not take exception, nor object, to any terms of the solicitation.
