Shenango River Lake Water Tank Rehabilitation Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of the elevated water tank at Shenango Lake, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The work includes removal and replacement of interior piping, concrete slab, removable grating, electric panels, and interior lower ladder. The project requires the contractor to empty the tank during the fall/winter off-season and complete the work before the summer recreation season. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) to submit a bid. • Removal and replacement of interior pedestal and tank piping and valves • Removal and replacement of interior 6-inch concrete slab • Removal and replacement of removable grating and its associated angles • Removal and replacement of interior electrical panels • Removal and disposal of existing access ladder and replacement with an OSHA-approved ladder and safety climbing devices • Proper disposal of electrical equipment and construction waste material
