Los Angeles Tennis Center Seismic Remediation (PREQUALIFICATIONS) RE-SOLICITATION

The University of California, Los Angeles is seeking pre‑qualified prime contractors for a $9.3 million seismic remediation of the Los Angeles Tennis Center. The project will upgrade the facility’s seismic performance from a VI to a IV rating, address accessibility and code‑compliance deficiencies, and resolve venue‑specific issues such as waterproofing, drainage, and fire‑system upgrades. The scope includes structural retrofitting (grade beams, battered micropiles, FRP strengthening), concrete work, site‑work, and interior modifications. Successful pre‑qualifiers will be eligible to bid as prime contractors without additional documentation. • Structural upgrades: grade beams with battered micropiles, FRP strengthening of concrete slabs and precast seating joints. • Accessibility & code upgrades: restroom modifications, new benches, widened aisles, accessible seating, handrail/guardrail additions, fire‑sprinkler and signage work. • Site and venue improvements: waterproofing, terrace replacement, wall waterproofing, upgraded trench drains, and soil stabilization under grandstands.
