Description
The U.S. Army is seeking quotes for rescue helmets. The helmets must meet specific salient characteristics, including a BOA Fit System, leather chin cup, and proprietary Zorbium viscoelastic foam. The helmets must also meet multi-hit ACH Blunt Impact requirements and have built-in accessory rails and goggle posts. The quotes must be submitted through the PIEE solicitation module, and the deadline for submission is listed in the module. The Army is looking for new equipment only, and no used or remanufactured products will be accepted.
• The helmets must be compatible with standard issue NVGs.
• The helmets must have a black, red, white, or high-viz polycarbonate copolymer shell.
• The helmets must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified in the solicitation.
• The offeror must provide descriptive literature, such as illustrations or drawings, to support their offer.
