Life Science Building Civil Repairs

The Sam Houston State University is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the selection of a General Contractor firm for the Life Science Building - Civil Repairs project. The project includes the replacement of sidewalks, new concrete cheek wall, new area inlet, new storm sewer, and new area inlet. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, labor, and coordination required to complete the scope of work. The contract will be awarded to the respondent offering the "best value" to the Owner. • The project is located at the Sam Houston State University campus in Huntsville, Texas. • The contractor must provide a three-foot tall orange roll-out fencing around the entire project to secure it nightly. • The contractor is responsible for verifying all field measurements and locating all existing utilities. • The contractor must comply with all federal and state policies and laws prohibiting discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. • The contractor must provide a VetHUB Subcontracting Plan as part of their proposal.
