Relay Ground Station – South (RGS-S) Antenna

The project is a Design-Build contract to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) by constructing a Relay Ground Station-South (RGS-S) at Schriever Space Force Base. The purpose is to provide the necessary facilities and infrastructure to support the RGS-S mission within a restricted area. The scope of work requires the contractor to design, procure, install, and commission a complete and usable facility. The primary components of the project include concrete pads, antenna pedestal foundations and radome ringwalls, site utilities, pathways, and cabling, backup generators and fuel tanks, and shelters. • The project will be executed as a firm-fixed-price contract with a completion period of 420 calendar days after the notice to proceed. • The estimated construction cost is between $15,000,000 and $20,000,000. • The NAICS Code for this project is 237130 - Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction. • Contractors must be registered and have active and verified accounts in both the System for Award Management (SAM) and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) to receive a contract award from any DoD activity.
