Gleneagles Storm Drainage Improvement Project

The City of Charlotte is soliciting contractors to replace an aging culvert on Gleneagles Road and perform associated storm‑water improvements, including downstream pond dredging and roadside drainage upgrades on Out‑Of‑Bounds Drive. The scope includes demolition of the existing 8.7’ × 7.8’ culvert, installation of a new 10’ × 7’ reinforced concrete box culvert, sediment removal from the pond, and installation of inlets and drainage upgrades to improve storm‑water conveyance and public safety. • Replace existing CMP culvert with a 10‑foot wide, 7‑foot tall reinforced concrete box culvert. • Dredge downstream pond at Quail Hollow Country Club to remove accumulated sediment. • Upgrade roadside drainage on Out‑Of‑Bounds Drive, adding inlets and improving runoff handling for larger storm events. • Provide required insurance (automobile, general liability, errors & omissions, construction bonds) and bonding (bid, performance, payment) as stipulated by the City.
