Student Loan Default Prevention and Counseling Services

The Austin Community College District (ACC) is seeking a qualified firm to provide Student Loan Default Prevention and Counseling Services. The primary mission of ACC's P2P Department is to acquire the highest quality of goods and services in a timely manner that provides the best value to ACC. The selected respondent will provide comprehensive student loan default prevention and borrower outreach services for the College, including proactive outreach with borrowers, multi-channel outreach communication, education on repayment options, and default prevention services. The respondent must demonstrate a thorough understanding of all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and guidance overseeing federal student loan programs. Some key requirements include: • Providing comprehensive student loan default prevention and borrower outreach services • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations • Offering bilingual staff support services • Submitting sample reports and providing regular detailed reports • Complying with federal and state laws, including the Privacy Act of 1975 and the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 • Providing virtual training to ACC's staff on the operation of the Student Loan Default Prevention and Counseling Services solution The evaluation criteria include responsiveness of the proposal, fairness and reasonableness of the proposed costs, quality and reliability of the respondent, and demonstrated availability and skills of bilingual staff.
