Reroofing of Station No. 2 - Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department

The City of Murfreesboro is seeking bids for the reroofing of Station No. 2 of the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department. The project involves replacing the existing roof with a new one, and the bidder must provide all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to complete the work. The bid must include a lump sum to furnish all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to complete the construction of the project in complete accordance with the drawings, specifications, and contract documents. The bidder must also execute a contract with the owner on the AIA Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor. • The project requires the replacement of damaged existing ½” APA rated roof sheathing. • The bidder must provide a contingency allowance of $5,000.00. • The bidder must execute a drug-free workplace affidavit prior to the start of the project. • The bidder must not withdraw the proposal within 45 consecutive calendar days from the date of the proposal. • The bidder must execute an agreement with the owner within 5 consecutive calendar days after the date of written notice of acceptance.
