Description

The U.S. Army is seeking a vendor to provide and deliver fully assembled Thermal Arc Sound Attenuation Booths (two size configurations) for use at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. The contract includes supplying all necessary parts, hardware, and detailed technical documentation (drawings, 3‑D models) that must be reviewed and approved by MCAAP Engineering before award. The booths are built with 18‑ga galvanized flat‑panel construction, rockwool insulation, and include door hardware, ventilation plenum, and welding‑arm offsets. The supplier must ship the booths in two halves, with doors loose; on‑site installation is the responsibility of the Army. • Provide one 77.5” × 102.5” × 116” booth (QT100118128TA) and one 100” × 118.5” × 128” booth (QT77102116TA) – complete with all hardware. • Deliver detailed technical description, as‑built drawings, and 3‑D models (SolidWorks, IGES, or STEP) within two weeks after award. • MCAAP Engineering will validate and approve the equipment concept before final award; the contractor must meet all specified product features.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

No contract value is disclosed. Based on the size and complexity of the two custom‑engineered acoustic booths (materials, fabrication, shipping, and required engineering deliverables), a reasonable estimate would be between $200,000 and $500,000. Larger, high‑precision acoustic enclosures can run $150‑300 k each, plus engineering and documentation fees, pushing the total toward the upper range.
