Description
The District seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive asphalt maintenance—including patching, seal‑coating, and striping—across eight school sites in the Morongo Unified School District. The work must be performed in accordance with the district’s specifications, include all labor, materials, equipment, permits, and related costs, and be completed between mid‑October 2026 and the end of June 2027. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based solely on the base bid amount; three optional additive alternates are also priced but do not affect the low‑bid determination. Bidders must submit a sealed bid, a 10 % bid security, and the required bonds and insurance prior to award.
• Scope: Asphalt patching, seal‑coating, and striping at Twentynine Palms Elementary, Yucca Valley Elementary, La Contenta Middle, Twentynine Palms Junior High, Black Rock High, Twentynine Palms High, Yucca Valley High, and ACCE‑West schools.
• Mandatory pre‑bid job‑walk/site visit on 22 Sep 2026 at Twentynine Palms Junior High; RFI deadline 24 Sep 2026.
• Bid submission deadline 30 Sep 2026 (sealed bids); award notification 13 Oct 2026; contract period 19 Oct 2026 – 30 Jun 2027.
