SR24 (Waldo Rd) at NE 3rd Ave Intersection Mod (LAP 427326-5-58-01)

The City of Gainesville is seeking bids for the installation of pedestrian signals on Waldo Road (SR24) at NE 3rd Ave. The project includes flexible paving, sidewalks, traffic separators, signs, and markings, as well as other incidental work. The bid must include all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to complete the work. The city reserves the right to award the bid on the basis of each line item individually. • The project requires a minimum of 40% self-performance by the prime contractor. • The bidder must have experience in construction work of the same or similar nature. • The bidder must be certified by the Florida Department of Transportation as qualified in the major work class "ELECTRICAL WORK" or "TRAFFIC SIGNAL". • The bidder must submit a list of similar projects and a list of subcontractors. • The bidder must provide proof of insurance and a performance bond. • The project must be completed within 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed.
