On-Call Traffic Engineering Surveys

The City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation is seeking qualified firms to perform traffic engineering surveys and data collection on an as-needed basis. The contract would augment the workload of existing staff, who are only able to complete approximately 50% of all studies due to staffing/capacity. The scope of work includes setting up specialized equipment and/or people to collect travel data on the roadway or sidewalk, and processing the data to compile completed summary reports. Key aspects of the job include: • Traffic surveying and data collection • Data processing and report compilation • Augmenting existing staff workload • Performing work on an as-needed basis The city is looking for firms with experience in traffic engineering surveys and data collection to provide these services.
