Description
The Miami‑Dade County Public Library System is seeking a prime general contractor to fully renovate the Coconut Grove Branch Library (approximately 7,900 sf). The scope covers demolition, interior and exterior upgrades, MEP systems, ADA‑compliant passenger elevator, impact‑rated windows and doors, waterproofing, new terrazzo flooring, exterior wood‑siding repair or composite replacement, signage design‑build, LEED Silver certification, historic preservation compliance, and all required permitting and bonding. The project is funded by FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant and State Library Grant, with an estimated contract value of $2.23 M and a 548‑day construction schedule.
