Description
The City of Santa Cruz is soliciting pre‑qualified contractors to execute a comprehensive tenant‑improvement project for the new downtown public library. The scope includes demolition (if required), installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low‑voltage, and specialized library systems, as well as interior build‑out such as partitions, glazing, ceilings, finishes, millwork, metal shelving, signage, stairs, and roof‑deck elements. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision are to be provided by the winning contractor. The contract will be awarded to one of the pre‑qualified firms listed in RFQ #ED‑2026‑01 and will run for 300 working days.
