Description
The County of Gwinnett is soliciting sealed competitive bids to supply rifle‑rated hard armor plates and carrier kits for its Police Department. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with all pricing required to be all‑required‑objects (including delivery). Bidders must provide stand‑alone Level III hard‑armor plates (both torso and 6×6 formats) that meet the County’s specifications without reliance on soft‑armor. Samples must be supplied within five business days of request, and the supplier is responsible for measuring and fitting County personnel at no cost to the County. The contract will cover roughly 650 individual items across multiple SKUs, with a mandatory bid submission deadline of June 18 2026.
