Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to produce 3000 copies of the 2026 Recruit Training Pocket Guide. The guide will have 4-page covers, 330 text pages, and will be printed in a landscape format with a trim size of 11 x 8.5 inches. The contractor will be required to adjust the provided file to include 2 PDF images per page, with the last 4 pages printing a single color image on one side only. The contractor must also provide a digital color one-off proof and deliver the final product to the USCG Training Center in Cape May, New Jersey, by February 2, 2026.
Key requirements include:
* Producing the guide in accordance with JCP Paper Specification Standards
* Using a quality level of 3, as defined in GPO PUB 310.1
* Providing a color press quality PDF soft proof for content only
* Delivering the final product with all elements in proper position, trimmed, and constructed to the finished size
* Complying with GPO Contract Terms, as outlined in GPO Pub. 310.2
