Description
The State of California, Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified firms to establish a Statewide Contract for Spices. The contract will be for two years with two one-year extension options. The State anticipates spending $475,603.00 over one year. Bidders must submit their bids by January 5th, 2026, at 2:00 PM PT.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible Bidder with the lowest cost, including all applicable preference and incentive calculations.
• Bidders must provide product literature, nutrition facts labels, and pricing information for the proposed products.
• The State reserves the right to eliminate any specific line item from the final award.
• Bidders may be required to submit customer references and manufacturer agreement letters.
• The contract will include provisions for socio-economic programs, such as small business and disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE) participation.
