The Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) provides funding to alumni of U.S. government-sponsored and facilitated exchange programs to design and implement innovative solutions to global challenges facing their community. The program aims to help U.S. government exchange alumni develop and implement projects that support U.S. foreign policy objectives, promote shared interests, and benefit local communities. This year, AEIF 2025 will accept public service projects proposed and managed by teams of at least two alumni. Proposals must address at least one of the themes: Education Partnerships, English Language Learning, Social Impact Entrepreneurship, and Strengthening Media Ecosystem.
• The program is designed to support alumni as they develop their leadership capacity and implement projects in their communities.
• All AEIF projects must convene alumni from different exchange programs to build or expand an alumni network capable of working together on common interests and increase regional and global collaboration of alumni.
• The program will provide funding to support project activities, and applicants must submit a proposal that includes a project summary, goal, objectives, design and methods, timeline, beneficiaries, local project partners, and communication and outreach plan.
• The application form guidance is provided at the end of the proposal form, and applicants are encouraged to review it carefully before submitting their proposal.
