Engineering Services - 2026 Fall Sidewalk Design

The City of Wheaton is seeking proposals from a qualified professional engineering firm to prepare project plans and specifications for construction of new sidewalks at several various locations. The selected firm will be responsible for topographic survey, attending a kick-off meeting, verifying no adverse impact related to drainage, preparing final engineering plans and specifications, and providing an engineer's estimate of probable cost. The firm will also be required to submit documents such as a fee proposal form, notice of deviations form, and vendor certification form. • The project includes designing sidewalks for 26 locations in the City of Wheaton. • The City desires completion of all project plans and specifications by June 2026. • The selected firm will be required to carry insurance acceptable to the City. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. • The City is exempt from paying sales tax on goods and equipment permanently incorporated into the project.
