Submarine Parts, Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs)

The US Navy intends to enter into Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs) for submarine parts and materials in support of emergent nuclear-powered submarine work. The agreements will be with General Dynamics Electric Boat (GDEB) and Huntington Ingalls Incorporated-Newport News Shipbuilding (HII-NNS). The BOAs will be for a period of 5 years, from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2031. The proposed contract actions will be executed on a sole-source basis. • The BOAs are for VIRGINIA, SEAWOLF, and OHIO Class shipbuilder specific coded stock parts and material. • The agreements will be with GDEB and HII-NNS. • The period of the BOAs is 5 years. • The proposed contract actions will be executed on a sole-source basis.
