Renovation of Consolidated K-12 School and Gymnasium Buildings

The Taliaferro County Board of Education is soliciting proposals from construction professionals/firms for the renovation of the Taliaferro County K-12 Consolidated School and Gymnasium Buildings. The project may include electrical system rewiring, relighting, energy conservation, installation of handicapped accessible water fountains, new flooring, and more. The preliminary stated cost of limitation (SCL) is $1,000,000. Key aspects of the project include: • Electrical system rewiring and labeling of all electrical panels • Installation of new lighting fixtures • Energy conservation through weatherization • Installation of handicapped accessible water fountains • New flooring and ceiling installation • Security upgrades, including door addition and door scan system installation • Restroom modernization and kitchen equipment replacement The scope of work is subject to change based on the budget.
