Description
The City of Auburn is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish an existing barn/garage structure at 199 Davis Avenue, perform site cleanup, and stabilize the area for future use. The work includes removal of all vehicles, scrap, hazardous materials, and debris; demolition of the slab, foundation, retaining wall, and three‑bay garage; protection of an existing paved driveway; disposal of approximately 26 tons of non‑hazardous material to ReEnergy in Lewiston; and final grading, back‑filling, compaction, and seeding to a 2:1 slope. All work must occur between 7 am‑7 pm, with temperature restrictions and erosion‑control requirements. The contractor must also install temporary fencing due to an adjacent elementary school and provide a 7‑day notice before demolition begins.

• Remove all non‑hazardous debris (≈ 26 tons) to ReEnergy; hazardous material disposal is contractor‑responsible if discovered.
• Site‑stabilization: grading, back‑fill, compaction, topsoil, jute mat, and grass seeding; preserve and blend existing driveway.
• Mandatory compliance with city‑specified safety, noise, and erosion‑control standards; provide fencing/barricades adjacent to Park Avenue Elementary School.
