The United States Navy intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Ametek Ameron for the repair of fire extinguishers. The procurement is for the repair of 106 NSN 7R-1680-015972412-H1 items. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources, and Ametek Ameron is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above part. • The procurement is not a Total Small Business Set-Aside. • The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 13. • Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. • Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort by email.
