Fire Station #3 HVAC & Restroom Remodel

The City of Mankato is seeking a contractor to replace and upgrade the heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning (HVAC) system at Fire Station #3, along with associated restroom improvements. The scope includes installing a new HVAC unit, a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system with individual room controls, an energy recovery ventilator (ERV), and replacing the existing water heater and condensing boiler. The work will be performed on the existing fire station facility located at 1230 Pohl Rd, Mankato, MN. • Install new HVAC unit and VRF system with zone controls for resident spaces. • Add energy recovery ventilator to meet code‑required ventilation. • Replace water heater and condensing boiler; upgrade related plumbing and mechanical systems. • Provide all necessary demolition, construction, testing, and commissioning. • Ensure compliance with local building, fire, and energy codes.
