60 MXS, Fabrication Flight Parts Manufacturing

The US Air Force is seeking information from companies capable of providing post-processing manufacturing services for the 60 MXS, Fabrication Flight. The required capabilities include anodize and dichromate sealing, automated shot peening, thermal spray coatings, and pre-penetrant alkaline acid etch. The goal is to establish a possible Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for these four distinct processes. The services are required to meet specific governing specifications, including MIL-A-8625, ASTM 2430, and Boeing SOPM 20-10-03. * Anodize and dichromate sealing: MIL-A-8625 Type II (Class I) and Type III (Class I and II) * Automated shot peening: ASTM 2430, Lockheed STP51-501, Boeing SOPM 20-10-03 * Thermal spray coatings: BMS10-67 Type I via Boeing BAC5851 Class 1 (Plasma) or Class 2 (HVOF) * Pre-penetrant alkaline acid etch: Lockheed STP53-201 / Boeing SOPM 20-20-02 (Sodium Hydroxide or Flicks etch)
