Westbury Ave. Improvements, Carle Place, NY DPW Project No. 25-04

The project includes streetscape improvements and roadway resurfacing along Westbury Avenue, extending from Jamaica Blvd. to Carle Rd. Work includes removal and replacement of curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons and curb ramps. Several new drainage structures will be installed, modifications will be made to existing drainage structures and there will be some replacement of concrete top slabs. The roadway work will involve milling and paving, installing new pavement markings and replacing or upgrading roadway signs. Select trees will be removed and replaced. Funding for this project comes in part through a federal grant administered by the United States Treasury. The successful bidder and their subcontractors will be required to have/create a SAM.gov ID number and agree to retain all records pertaining to this project for at least five (5) years to be eligible for award of a contract.
