Description
The Wake Technical Community College is seeking bids for the construction of Building Envelope Upgrades- Roofing Recover- South Campus Building E. The project involves the recovery of the roof of the South Campus Building E. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on February 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Facilities & Warehouse Complex, 4723 Advantage Way, Raleigh, NC 27603. The meeting will address the project scope and description, answer specific questions and issues, and provide an opportunity for participants to visit the roofs. The bids will be received until 2:00 P.M. on March 26, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read at the same location.
• The project requires a single prime contract with a lump sum proposal.
• The contractor must have a proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades.
• The contractor must include with the bid proposal the form Identification of Minority Business Participation and either Affidavit A or Affidavit B as applicable.
• A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for 100% of the contract price.
• Payment will be made based on 95% of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work.
