Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) Water Twister (WT) Mod-2 Inboard Spherical Thrust Bearings

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) intends to negotiate a non-competitive basis with The Timken Company for the procurement of five Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) Water Twister (WT) Mod-2 Inboard Spherical Thrust Bearings. The Timken Company is the only approved OEM source for this item, and the Government intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. • The procurement is for five bearings with the part number 3890AS004918-01. • The bearings are in support of the Aircraft Launch Recover Equipment Program. • The Timken Company is the only vendor with the required source data to complete this requirement. • The Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis.
