Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to deliver and install electrical and communications cabling and equipment to modernize Bldg 1900 East, Room 268 at Scott AFB. The scope of work includes disconnecting existing power, installing electrical routing, and removing old copper and fiber cabling. The contractor will also terminate and patch all cabling into the new patch panels in Comm Room 267. Key requirements include:
• Providing and installing shielded CAT6A and OM4 fiber optic cabling
• Terminating connections and ensuring the infrastructure supports 26 new workstations and associated printers
• Performing work in close coordination with a separate furniture installation schedule
• Delivering and installing all necessary materials and labor to complete the project within 45 days.
