The City of Lauderhill is creating a pre‑qualified contractor pool to perform a broad range of residential rehabilitation and home‑repair services on owner‑occupied, single‑family homes. Qualified contractors will be invited to bid on individual project work orders after they are accepted into the pool. Funding may come from federal, state, local or other housing assistance programs, and contractors must meet extensive licensing, insurance, and compliance requirements.
• Scope includes roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, window/door replacement, accessibility upgrades, interior/exterior rehab, structural repairs, painting, flooring, kitchen/bath remodels, energy‑efficiency upgrades, and other eligible work.
• Projects are funded by CDBG, HOME, SHIP, ARPA or other sources; no minimum or maximum project size is guaranteed.
• Contractors must hold all required Florida state and local licenses (general, building, residential, roofing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.) and maintain appropriate insurance.
• Applicants must register on the City’s IonWave procurement portal and submit a complete qualifications package by 10:45 AM EST on 14 Sep 2026.
• Questions were due by 10:00 AM EST on 4 Sep 2026.
• Inclusion in the pool does not guarantee work; future assignments will be issued via separate bid notices and may require a Master Agreement.
• The City encourages local vendors but geographic preference is not applied to federally or state‑funded projects.
• Compliance with HUD, lead‑safe, Davis‑Bacon, Buy‑America, and other federal requirements is mandatory for applicable funding.
