Wild Dunes Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is seeking bids for the Wild Dunes Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation project. The scope of work includes interior wet and exterior coating improvements, replacement of roof vents, and miscellaneous concrete and concrete reinforcement repairs to an 800,000 gallon at-grade concrete water tank. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond as security in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Key considerations for bidders include: • The bidder must be licensed as a contractor under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes with an Intermediate limitation and Public Utility classification. • The bidder must submit a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. • The bidder must execute an Affidavit and Certificate of Non-Collusion, Non-Suspension, and Non-Conviction. • The bidder must register and obtain an official set of contract documents from the Bid Manager.
