Environmental Services for Englewood Roundabout and Winner Road Improvements

The City of Independence is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide environmental services for the Englewood Roundabout and Winner Road Improvements project. The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting environmental studies, preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents, and performing other tasks as outlined in the RFP. The project includes replacing the existing 5-way intersection with a roundabout and making pedestrian improvements to the streetscape. Some key aspects of the project include: • Conducting environmental investigations and preparing NEPA documents • Performing wetland delineation and habitat assessments • Completing cultural resources surveys • Coordinating with the design-build team and other stakeholders • Preparing project maps and photologs • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations The City is looking for a consultant with experience in similar projects and a strong understanding of the NEPA process. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of insurance and a City of Independence business license.
