Design Services for The Big Creek Excess Flow Holding and Pump Station Project

The City of Lee's Summit is seeking professional engineering and surveying services for the design of an excess flow storage basin and pump station. The project is anticipated to be broken into three phases: facility plan/basis of design report, project design and bidding, and construction services. The selected firm will be expected to provide a statement of qualifications, which will be evaluated based on experience, availability of key personnel, and project approach. The firm will also be required to participate in a non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting and potentially an oral interview. Key aspects of the project include: • Evaluating the Big Creek watershed for current and future capacity and demand • Designing an excess flow storage basin and pump station • Providing construction services and support during the construction phase • Coordinating with the City's planning and development personnel • Ensuring compliance with the City's standard contract and procurement procedures
