Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide moving, storage, inventory, and installation services for the Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and trucks to provide and execute the pickup of equipment, complex furniture systems, moving of complex furniture systems, freestanding furniture, and the computer data management of these complex systems and furniture. The contractor will also provide equipment moving, furniture moving, furniture installation, and storage services for VAAAHS locations.
• The contractor must have experience working with multi-manufacturer systems furniture and be able to provide labor and expertise for inventory data capture management and product handling.
• The contractor must be able to store furniture and equipment inventory until installation is scheduled by the COR.
• The contractor must be able to provide cleaning services and minor repairs to damaged furniture.
• The contractor must be able to provide a trained and uniformed team of personnel to provide the services.
• The contractor must be able to input existing inventory into a web-based solution and maintain the database throughout the life of the contract.
