The City of New York’s Department of Sanitation is seeking a “C” requirement contract to supply 100 new skid‑steer loaders and a comprehensive set of attachments, training, and support equipment for snow‑removal, street‑cleaning, and other sanitation tasks. The contract runs for five years (July 1 2026 – June 30 2031) and includes mandatory delivery schedules, warranty service response times, and liquidated‑damage provisions. Vendors must attend a pre‑solicitation conference on 21 April 2026 and submit a PIN by that same date.
• Core equipment: 100 diesel Tier‑4 Final skid‑steer loaders (Gehl‑type) plus a full suite of attachments (snow blades, blowers, brooms, spreaders, buckets, etc.).
• Additional services: Operator and technician training, diagnostic software/hardware, GPS units, and ongoing maintenance support.
• Delivery cadence: Pilot unit within 210 days of PO, first production unit within 270 days, then four units every 30 days; penalties for late delivery and warranty repairs apply.
