Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal services for the demolition of improvements, structures, or other encumbrances in the right of way and/or easement areas. The scope of work includes the complete demolition and removal of structures, and all demolition debris must be removed and disposed of properly. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. The project duration is 30 days, and the contractor must begin work as soon as possible following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must be pre-qualified in the Right of Way Property Management service class.
• The contractor must provide a bid price for each parcel.
• The contractor must begin work when the Notice to Proceed is issued by GDOT.
• All work must be completed in 30 days from the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
• The contractor must maintain liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence.
