The San Francisco Community College District is seeking competitive sealed bids for a comprehensive renovation of the Evans Center campus building. The scope covers seismic retro‑fitting, interior demolition and finish upgrades, new solid‑surface lab countertops, rolling fire doors, extensive low‑voltage communications, security, fire‑alarm, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and the installation of a new spray‑booth. The contract is a design‑build/construction‑only award with numerous specialty‑trade requirements and mandatory pre‑bid site walks.
• Structural & seismic upgrades to a Type III‑N, two‑story educational building.
• Full interior fit‑out: solid‑surface countertops, upgraded doors/hardware, ADA‑compliant fixtures, signage, and extensive “attic stock” close‑out items.
• Low‑voltage systems: conduit, cable trays, security access‑control, video‑surveillance, and a new addressable fire‑alarm system with 30‑day burn‑in.
• Mechanical additions: new TPO roofing, HVAC filters, sprinkler heads, and a purpose‑built spray‑booth with utilities integration.
• Mandatory pre‑bid walk (March 6 & 13 2026), RFI deadline (April 1 2026), and bid submission deadline (April 13 2026 @ 2 PM).
