2026-B Affordable Housing Development /or Home Funding

The City of College Station is soliciting proposals for the development of affordable housing through funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and/or HOME Investment Partnerships Grant (HOME) Program. The selected agency will be required to comply with federal Section 3 regulations if the contract exceeds $300,000 in either CDBG or HOME funding. The project may also be subject to the Build America Buy America Act regulations if the total project cost exceeds $250,000 and includes five or more units. The City will evaluate respondents' qualifications and experience, project adherence to goals, project design and methodology, financial contribution, and other factors. * Key aspects of the project include: • Development of affordable housing units for sale or lease to income-qualified households • Acquisition and rehabilitation of affordable housing units for sale or lease to income-qualified households • Compliance with federal Section 3 regulations and Build America Buy America Act regulations • Site control of any location or property pertaining to the submitted application • Evidence of maintaining site control in the form of a deed or option agreement with a seller
