Diesel Engine DYNO Testing and Remanufactured

The opportunity is for a one-year base plus one-year option indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract for Diesel Engine DYNO Testing and Remanufactured, with a maximum of 70 engines within a 12-month period. The contractor must be able to initiate dyno testing of CAT C12 engine(s) within ten working days upon receipt of engine(s) and complete a new dyno test of the remanufactured engine if the initial test shows the engine failed. The contractor must also provide a minimum of one full year warranty of the rebuilt engine(s) and paint the entire engine CAT Yellow. • The contract requires the contractor to provide their best manufacturing/delivery time for evaluation. • The contractor must report to the Contracting Officer all price reductions offered to its best commercial customers. • The contract has a one-year optional year to complete the contract. • The government reserves the right to request bid samples from all offerors or a contract award or request a sample from the awardee after contract award. • Future requirements for these or similar items from this or other UNICOR factories may be added to the resulting contract if considered to fall within the scope of work and the price is determined to be fair and reasonable.
