FY27 NW St. Joseph Salt Dome Roof Replacement Project

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking qualified contractors to fully replace the roof on the Northwest St. Joseph “Salt Dome” structure. The scope includes removal of existing polyurethane foam roofing, three‑tab shingles, felt underlayment, roof vents, flashing and entrance fascia, followed by installation of a new 30‑year (or greater) composite shingle system, ice‑and‑water barrier, synthetic underlayment, galvanized flashing, and approximately 750 metal roof vents. All work must result in a watertight roof system and comply with MoDOT’s safety, warranty, and documentation requirements. Bids are submitted electronically via MissouriBUYS; hard‑copy bids require prior notice. A mandatory site visit must be scheduled by November 13, 2026.
