Report on the Economic Impact of the Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit

The National Park Service intends to award a single source justified cooperative agreement to Rutgers University for the project "Report on the Economic Impact of the Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit". The project aims to assess and report on the economic impact and other benefits of the Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit in FY 2018 and FY 2019. The recipient will be responsible for refining an input-output model entitled the Preservation Economic Impact Model and producing an annual report made available to the public. The NPS and the recipient will work cooperatively to share data, information, and expertise to assess the economic impact of the tax credits. • The project will assess the economic impact of the Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit in FY 2018 and FY 2019. • The recipient will refine an input-output model entitled the Preservation Economic Impact Model. • The recipient will produce an annual report made available to the public. • The NPS and the recipient will work cooperatively to share data, information, and expertise.
