Description
The State of Illinois is seeking bids for the installation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) devices and fiber on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 17.5 and Mile Post 39.8 in Cook County and DuPage County. The project includes the installation of ATM systems and fiber optic cables. The work is expected to start on or about August 17, 2026, and must be completed by August 15, 2028.
• The project requires the installation of ITS devices and fiber optic cables.
• The work must be completed within a period of approximately 730 days.
• The project is located on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) in Cook County and DuPage County.
• Bidders must submit their bids electronically, and paper responses will not be accepted.
• The bid opening date is scheduled for May 19, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
