Description
The City of Douglasville is seeking to add improvements to the Brightstar Rd at Brightstar Connector intersection. This project will upgrade the traffic signal and upgrade the signing, striping, and sidewalks at the Rose Avenue intersection. The traffic signal will include mast arms and video detection with underground connectivity. The contractor will be responsible for all traffic signal and/or control system adjustments, including temporary support pole locations required by the project during the interim period through installation of new signal equipment.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Upgrading the traffic signal and signing, striping, and sidewalks at the Rose Avenue intersection
• Installing mast arms and video detection with underground connectivity
• Maintaining the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic during intersection improvements
• Providing all labor, materials, equipment, and engineering needed to deliver the reconfigured intersections
• Ensuring compliance with all Local, County, State, and Federal codes and regulations
