Description
The Town of Cumberland is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate the historic Long Barn located at Franklin Farm. The work includes structural stabilization, roof replacement with fire‑rated cedar shingles, exterior siding repair, selective demolition of non‑historic elements, site preparation, new concrete footings, steel framing, metal flashing, waterproofing, painting, and historic‑preservation‑compliant window work. The project must comply with Davis‑Bacon prevailing‑wage rules, Buy‑America requirements, HUD CDBG Section 3 MBE goals, and historic preservation standards.
• Required specialties: historic building restoration, structural steel, concrete footings, cedar‑shingle roofing, lead‑paint abatement, and metal flashing.
