Description
The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District is soliciting bids to renovate and modernize classrooms at two district schools—Bixby Elementary and Sparks Middle School—under the Measure BB Bond program. The work encompasses full‑building renovation to create “21st Century” learning environments, including demolition of selected building sections, structural alterations, new interior finishes, mechanical/electrical/plumbing upgrades, networking and technology integration, fire‑alarm and security systems, site work (grading, paving, utility protection), and ADA compliance improvements. All work must be performed by contractors on the district’s pre‑qualification list, hold a California B‑license, and comply with prevailing‑wage requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and will require a 10 % bid bond and 100 % performance/payment bonds.
