Waste Management Services

The Habersham County School District is seeking waste management services for various locations, including elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and administrative offices. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing waste management services, including direct dispatch information, state and federally approved covered containers, and maintenance of all containers. The vendor will also be required to provide a schedule showing times of pick-up at each location and follow a daily schedule within a 1-hour perimeter. • The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with the option of extension annually for up to four additional years. • The vendor must have been in business for a minimum of 2 years and must not be an employee of the Habersham County School District. • The vendor must provide a comprehensive criminal history background check for any employee working on school property. • The vendor must provide a certificate of insurance with minimum coverage limits. • The vendor must comply with E-Verify requirements and provide an affidavit verifying compliance.
